Resources

Throughout my internship, I have used many resources that have helped me in building my own system. I have listed them here so that everyone can get hands-on and build their own Sentiment Analysis system!

  • The Sentiment Analysis Task was the place I was led to by Dr. Carpuat. I created the system in order to “compete” in this competition, but since the competition deadline had passed before I started working on this, I was able to explore in a greater scope, and decided to take this task further with Deep Learning
  • Once I had gotten Weka, the Affective Tweet Package and EmoInt helped me test the baseline system. Using this, I was able to decide which features I wanted to use in my own system. Don’t worry, Weka installation is including in the Affective Tweets GitHub page!
  • Emotion Intensities in Tweets A very good introduction into the problem
